The Authors Collection Bookshelf is made of high-quality pine and made to not only make a beautiful statement in your living space but provide a place to store your valuable books for years to come as well.
What makes our shelf special you ask?
Well for starters it isn’t made of cheap throw away material like most others. Most bookshelves made today are manufactured with MDF or plywood. Neither one is natural and both contain industrial adhesives.
Our shelves on the other hand are made of solid pine. A popular wood that’s been used for thousands of years to construct quality furniture.

Space between shelves is 8 inches. We also offer a shelf spacing of 12”. Please send us a message upon purchase if that is the shelf spacing you need. For the 12” spacing there will be one less shelf in the bookcase.
How it’s Made:
The process starts by picking out only the finest pine from local suppliers. From there it’s brought back to our shop where we cut it to size by hand. Then the pieces are set up and the slots for the shelves are precisely milled. The longest part of the process is also the most satisfying. After milling we hand sand and clean each individual piece to ensure a smooth finish. Next comes the pre-stain to ensure a flawless and even color. Several rounds of staining, sanding and providing a clear protective finish follow. It is at this point that the raw wood is transformed into the finished bookshelf. Strong dado joints and wood screws join every piece to assemble a strong, sturdy and unique piece of furniture that will stand the tests of time.

This is a really cool idea, it would be nice to select album by music genre instead of color though. I’m giving as a gift and would have preferred a rock album over a country album however the color was correct and the item was delivered as described.

Ok I absolutely thought this was the coolest gift ever! Omg I had to order this especially when I am a music lover! Our home was always full of Albums and this is the best invention ever! Nice little shelf. Color is great, quality too. My only complaint: You can see the screw heads on the top - but it's ok, this is just for my kids bathroom for storage. Overall very cute.

I love this thing! It looks great in my yard. The seller provided instructions that were easy to follow and it went together in less than 15 minutes. Very durable and my neighbors are already asking me about it!
The book case is beautiful. I was able to do a custom order with 4 shelves instead of 3 which I love. It will fit perfectly in my room. The shelf had a strong smell from the stain which I seem to be the only one smelling as others in the house could not. So if you have a sensitive nose just store it in another room. The smell went away for me in about 2 weeks. Its a great shelf and comes with everything you need to assemble it.
